Admission to DU will be conducted by CUET Exam. The questions to be asked in these CUET entrance exams are based on the topics included in the CBSE Board Class 12 Syllabus. The competition for these entrance exams are also very high. So, students must go through the CBSE Board Class 12 Previous Year Question Papers to prepare for the same. For admission to UG courses at Delhi University, students must first clear the CUET entrance exam and then apply for CSAS counselling for final admission.

Seat distribution over several rounds and final admission based on a merit list will be part of the third phase.
Earlier, admission to a few UG and all PG courses was given through DU-conducted entrance exams, namely the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) or the Delhi University LLB Entrance Exam followed by a Personal Interview (PI). However, from 2024, DU will offer PG courses through CUET PG.
Delhi University has approximately 69,554 undergraduate seats available across its colleges. Both categories of DU 2024 seats are regular seats and supernumerary seats. In order to calculate their chances of admission to their preferred course, candidates must understand how DU seats will be distributed among colleges and courses in 2024. It should be noted that the ECA and sports quotas reserve 5% of all available seats at all colleges affiliated with Delhi University.
